Percepta is very much based on legendary showcard writer and designer Mike Stevens sans-serif Roman lettering. An extremely versatile face, his "Optima" variant can look beautiful, elegant and chic when used in the lighter weights for headlines, yet really comes into its own as the perfect style for secondary copy. Also, it is very tolerant of letter-space adjustment and even slight stretching within bounds.
